The new Sentiers des Gorges along the Jackson River was completed in the Fall 2024. The purpose of this trail is to keep hikers off the banks of the river to prevent further erosion and damage to this exceptional natural space. A new information kiosque has been installed at the entrance to the trail; it will provide space for educational information about the flora and fauna of the area as well as the history of the Green Mountain Nature Reserve. Jacques Legault and Louise Gratton, both members of MECA, where actively involved in the creation of the new trail and the information kiosque.
